It had been a while since...

It had been a while since I went out to a club, and I chose Pacers partly because of the location and partly because I used to know a dancer there. A lot has changed -- first thing you're likely to notice is that they now have complimentary valet parking. There used to be a huge lot you could lose your car in, which I view as a good thing if you don't want random friends noticing your car in a club parking lot. Now, that lot is fenced off and empty. A waste of space. The valet lot has about a dozen spots in it, so not that appealing. They are doing some remodeling of the club, which is a good thing. They just opened up the second dance floor today, though there weren't any dancers using it this afternoon. Maybe tonight. Meantime, the place is low key, the drinks are reasonably priced, if you're buying booze. Got a draft beer for $3, and a Coke for $5. I'll stick to beer next time.

The girls run on the hotter side of average. There was one girl who was what we used to call "pleasantly plump" and another who looked to be about mid-forties. The rest of the girls working today were definitely worth looking at. All of them were friendly, and greeted me as they walked past on their way to the stage for their set. It took a while for things to get going, though...only two of the girls seemed interested in any of the fun stuff for the first hour I was there. The girl I took back for a lap dance got really into it and was genuinely breathless and weak-kneed when we were done. Definitely worth the trip.
