I've been to Emperors a lot...

I've been to Emperors a lot in the last 4 years. Maybe too much in some people's opinion. I know as with all clubs that there are gonna be great days and not so great days. Today was not a great day. Most of the girls that worked on Friday night are nowhere near the caliber of girls that are usually working at Emperors. Most that were here on the night I went were mostly 5s with a 6 here and there. Me and my buddy sat down for a while and were not impressed with what we saw. We contemplated leaving early and heading to another club. We decided that it was still early and had potential to get better when more dancers were arriving. It slightly improved. While enjoying my drink. A cutie sat with me who I had not noticed before but she remembered me. She went straight to the point and asked if I wanted a dance. I am always hesitant to try anybody out who I have not seen on stage. She sounded almost desperate and a little cocky by saying she's the best in the club. She said she was great because she doesn't just grind on the D. As someone who frequents clubs all over town, I have had dances from a lot of women in Jax so this intrigued me. I've done just about everything in the VIP. I've met the very famous and very friendly Katya of Doll House and now Sinsations (at least until the new Doll House opens down the road from Emperors)and I've hit home runs an ex dancer at Cocktails so this girl had a lot to live up to. Well anyways, she almost lived up to her word as it was a pretty good dance. Definitely not the best I had at Emperors though. I was done after one song and wanted to go back to my seat however she persisted and tried to con me into getting another dance stating that the new song already started. I got up and told her I only had enough to get one song. She then completely flipped out and told me that the dance is $30 plus a mandatory tip which I know was BS. This completely turned me off. I usually tip dancers extra whom I know and have become good friends with over the years. When I only gave her the $30, she wanted me to ask my friend for more money for her tip. Its a real shame that her attitude changed because I definitely would dance with her again but now that this happened I will just ignore her in the future. Overall I know how good this club usually is and the talent that is usually here. I will be back in the hopes that this will just be a blip on the otherwise stellar and dependable club.
