Had fond memories of the old Joy of Austin so I decided to see if this sister club was similar. The answer is YES! Had to pay the full $5 cover at 3 PM and the domestic beers were $3.75, shot of Patron was $6.50. It has the same silly Harris County regulations so the stage dancers can't come over and get their tips, no table dances at the table you're at, etc. At least Harris County doesn't require those bizarre pasties which make the women look like they've got robo boobs. The 1st dancer on the stage was big and fat and I thought this was a bad omen but things got steadily better. A few of the gals were a solid 7 and this was before the evening shift came on so I would hope the evening gals are even better. Lunch buffet closes at 2 PM and dinner buffet starts at 5 PM so I shall time my next visit a bit better. Not as good as the Austin clubs but that is true of all the Houston / Harris County clubs.
