I had some time to kill...

I had some time to kill on a Friday afternoon so i decided to have a beer and look at boobs. Keep in mind this was like maybe 3pm on a Friday, I didn't expect it to be crowded or that many girls would be working. Walked in and there was a relatively long bar with 6-7 patrons sitting there, a few talking to girls working there, and maybe 2 other guys at the tables right by the bar, no customers were anywhere near the stage. Everyone at the bar was clearly a regular, and I sat a few seats away from them. I eventually had to flag the bartender away from the conversation to get a drink. "Oh, I didn't see you." Um, I walked right past you and am clearly sitting at the bar, but whatever, I said no problem an ordered a beer. The bartender turned out to be pretty friendly. I don't remember the price for the beer but it wasn't expensive. The bar stools face away from the stage so I was only aware of anything going on up there if I turned around. There were breaks between dancers but that's to be expected given the crowd, and that no one was watching the stage anyway. The few girls I did notice were OK, nothing to write home about, and they were sleepily going through the motions, I assume because they were dancing to no one but the DJ anyways. I had another beer and asked the bartender about the food, and she said it was actually pretty good, so I ordered a burger and indeed it was pretty good. Another beer later and I headed out.

I was never approached by any girls working, which wasn't a bad thing seeing there weren't many and it would have been weird being the only guy there getting a dance. The girls weren't particularly attractive, but they weren't awful either. I got lunch and three beers for maybe $30, can't really complain. I really got the feeling that at least during the day, people were there to drink and talk, not to watch dancers, so the dancers act accordingly (and I don't blame them as the stage is a ways from the bar and faces another wall so they really were dancing for no one). I will probably go back sometime when it is later and maybe a bit more lively to see if its a worthwhile hang out. Oh, there was no cover, btw, but again, it was afternoon, there may be a cover charge later.
