Delilah's seems to be the king...

Delilah's seems to be the king (or queen) of strip clubs in Philly. They seem to do the most advertising and the get the most notoriety. So, it seemed odd I'd never been. I finally got the chance this week. It was a Wednesday night, specifically there seemed to be a lingerie theme on this Wednesday. Delilah's is pretty imposing, very high class. You walk in and there is an air to it like that of a good steakhouse. The place is pretty large with lots of stuff going on, so much so that it is hard to pick a spot to sit. The center of the room has 2 stages connected by a long center stage where the dancers rotate to for their main performance. The 2 stages are surrounded by bars and the connecting center stage has swiveling chairs to get a nice view of the main show. One of the 2 bar stages even has a set of stairs which I believe led to a VIP area. Surrounding this whole setup are raised areas which looked to be meant for groups.

I Started at the back of 2 bars and got a lager, $6, not cheap but not horrendous. This club is not 100% my style, its monstrous and you don't feel like you are in an intimate environment but that of well choreographed show. While I generally prefer more of the smaller establishment, its worth noting that the girls at Delilah's are smoking hot. Lots of 7 through 9s, sprinkled with a couple of 10s. Definitely the best quality I have seen in Philly. Unlike smaller clubs it seems as though the girls at Delilah's have defined roles. There are dancers, who also mix with the crowd, shot girls, who are working their way up the rungs, and girls looking for dances. There doesn't seem to be any dollar parade here as I never had any girl who just finished a dance approach the entire night. Shortly after getting a drink I was joined by a gorgeous Russian girl who spoke impeccable English. We chatted quickly, but I could tell she was looking for a dance and I was just getting acclimatized so we parted ways before it got to the point where I felt she was wasting her time. I was surprised the time it took for me to be joined by another lady. The girls here seemed pretty busy with a good amount of patrons, so there weren't a lot of ladies walking around looking for company. Finally, a pretty brunette, Madison, approached and nearly immediately asked for a dance. This would usually put me off but since it was so busy, I figured, I should take what I got. Didn't hurt that she was a definite 9. We did 2 dances at a reasonable $20 rate and she was pretty into it with good grinding and a little HOC. The lap dance area was not bad and pretty private. She pretty much kept her own time, which seemed a little short, so I thought it best not to go for a third.

I Returned to the main room and sat in the pretty plush chairs by the main stage. Once again it was a long time before I was approached again. This girl wasn't nearly as stunning but she was smart and fun to talk to. We hung out for a while but eventually I had to go so I tipped her and took off.
