new york dolls is located in the financial district in manhattan. unlike some other clubs it is small. when you walk in their is a bar on the left side where patrons sip the night away. continuing into the second room, the main and only room in fact, you will be struck with how small /intimate the setting is. there are tables but the dances occur on the seating that circles the walls. there are a couple of poles. it is a more down to earth atmosphere than other nyc clubs but the drawback is that its not that upscale and it is certainly not cheaper. it caters to a clientele in the financial district.
