If you're thinking about going to...

If you're thinking about going to The Gold Club you're probably also thinking about going to Hack's across the street. I've been to both a few times and really it's a toss up between the two.

Here at The Gold Club, the area is much more like what you would expect a gentlemans club to look and feel like. Nice full bar as you walk in, semi-decent size stage in the center left of the room with stairs for the gals to enter from. Surrounding the stage are lots of cocktail tables with "lounge" chairs around them. You can also grab a seat right at the stage, or back in the back against the walls. All in all, the feel is that of a strip club. Hacks on the other hand is more like your neighborhood sports bar with some dancers. Yes, there's a stage and a pole in the center, but it feels small, and local.

The girls at The Gold Club are my biggest problem. There usually aren't many, and they usually aren't too hot. Occasionally, you find one that is semi decent, but really she just looks that way because of all the unattractive girls. I will note however, that I usually do go around the late afternoon and on weekdays. Maybe the later shift or weekends are better.

I've had some dances here. They're $30 a pop, but occasionally do a 2 for $40 deal. The girls I've had there are no-extras types but YMMV. I have not sprung for the VIP area, but have been told it is $175 and also does not come with any added luxuries.

At Hack's at least I know some of the girls are decent looking and some of them provide extras.
