My last two visits here have been on weekend afternoons, so I'm combining my reviews into one. The club's atmosphere hasn't changed much over the years. Think of a tiki bar crossed with a strip joint. The dancers downstairs are topless, upstairs for nude. I like the fact that they serve Guinness and Sam Adams for $5 plus tip. Unfortunately the dancer quality is pretty much either very chunky or boyishly thin. They're friendly, to be sure, but no real knockouts. In typical form many dancers were latched on to regular customers or talking with each other at the bar waiting their turns onstage.

WIth the economy still in the tank, I've found a lot of dancers are now more apt to negotiating price up front. "What do you like to do here? Lapdance? Back room?" The price includes your drink of choice. I've left happy in both instances (CBJ and BBBJ), but feeling like my wallet was lighter than it should have been. The friendlier of the two dancers offered up her phone number afterwards for "takeout". The other, unfortunately, wanted an additional tip after we got out. Displaying my empty wallet ended that game.

It's not a bad place, though I'm wondering if the quality of dancers gets better at night.
