A friend of mine and I...
A friend of mine and I popped in with the intent of spending money on dances as we were in town for the Aussie Millions poker tournament. We were completely sober when we entered and we both wanted to have a few drinks before we got dances as it was pretty early in the night. Before even ordering our first drinks, we were approached by several strippers for private dances but we politely declined and told them we would get a dance later on. So about 30 minutes had passed and yet again we were approached, again we declined. One of the strippers had started caressing my back for a minute or so and then stormed off abruptly when I rejected her. About another 15 minutes had passed and a stripper made derogatory comments towards us, basically implying we were homosexuals. Suffice it to say, we decided to leave at that point at when some of the strippers jeered and shouted at us. I ended up walking a few metres to a much dingier nightclub but whose strippers were much friendlier, cheaper and just as good-looking and ended up having a great night there.
Another friend of mine recently told me of his experience there. He ended up being taken for $3000 after handing over his credit card and being charged $50 as a "tip" every time he bought a drink.
Lap dances are $500/hr. Not only is the place overpriced but the strippers are very aggressive and rude if you decline them and you have the potential to be hustled. If you value your money and your pride, I would stay away from this place.
