I would say that out of all the trashier strip clubs in East Saint Louis, this is the place that I have been the most. While Roxy's is not in the best neighborhood on the Eastside, I can say that I survived having a flat tire in the parking lot without getting robbed and/or assaulted. I say that surprisingly as I was a younger twenty year old at the time who didn't make the money I do now. I should of just gotten my car towed as opposed to waiting in the parking lot for my friend who was a server at the time to get off work so she could take me to the nearest Walgreens to get some Fix-A-Flat. The damn Fix-A-Flat didn't work for shit so I had to get the car towed to the nearest Walmart and wait for them to replace my tire. I tell ya...what a night. Anyway, I digress...The girls aren't that great, but what do you say about the lesser attractive strippers, they work a little harder for their money. A friend and I did encounter a stripper that was a petite little blonde bombshell. She absolutely mistook my friend as an owner of a famous Sushi restaurant in St. Louis and gave him some head in the private room. Later that night, they ditched me to party a little more at a local Rave club. Another night, we took one of our female friends to Roxy's and wouldn't you know it...it was shower show night. My female friend was so mortified at the the amount of dildo's and strap-ons that were used in the show that she hid in the farthest corner of the club and squeezed herself as far in that corner as she could. (That always makes me laugh when I think of her cringed looked on her face.) So while I would prefer going to Penthouse or PT's Sauget, Roxy's does have a special place in my heart.
