Have visited 3 times this March. The first two times, there was no cover, no drink minimum and we didn't even get carded at the door. This last visit, a female bartender approached us shortly after sitting at the stage and said there isn't a cover charge but rather a one drink minimum, cheapest drink was a $4 soft drink. So for a m/f couple it costs $8 as a "cover" charge. The other club in Eugene, the Silver $ club only has a $5 cover charge for male customers, female customers are free, and no drink minimum or cover. Call it what it is, a drink minimum is a door/cover charge. Charging women a drink minimum is off putting and left a bad taste in our mouths.

We were enjoying the Nile until this last visit, and planned future visits. The dancers on the first two occasions were all attractive, this last visit, not so much or less so. We first went on Valentines day, then on a Wednesday and lastly on a Thursday. The last visit, on Thursday wasn't terrible, but also not the top notch women dancing, still as attractive or better than the mix we saw during our one visit to the silver $ club. We have had 2 lap dances in total here at the Nile, and they were both great, $20 for us as a couple the first time, and the dancer was fantastic, friendly, personable and great. This last Thursday's visit was a single dance $20 per person, so my significant other just watched and didn't participate and was bumbed. It would have been a 1 song dance shared between 2 people for $20 each. Didn't make sense to us, why not just get two dances back to back, one for each instead of a group experience. We were looking for the "group" experience. Anyhow, these lap dances were full nude. We always ask for the rules, as each dancer might have different rules, and both times, two-way touching was allowed, just no touching the vagina.

Overall, we would like to go back, but are hesitant due to this "cover" charge. This place does get busier after 11:30 on most nights.
