Club Bazzaz has been rebranded as...
Club Bazzaz has been rebranded as Le Zipper, unfortunately it's well founded reputation as a local dive has not. This place remains an I credible waste of time and not worth the effort.
Situated on Montreal's West Island this club has gone through numerous iterations from its heyday in the late 70's when it was known as Chez Alfonso.
The clubs interior is unchanged from the Bazzaz days, a smallish club with a large, shiny stage. The private dance area is in a room off to the side. No danger in visiting these rooms however, since the local talent was uninterested and uninviting. There were about ten girls working on a Friday night, almost all off them were busy texting on their cell phones app with the remainder talking amongst themselves. There were no lookers and there was no fun to be had. After a quick beer, I left, vowing never to return.
Stay away from this poor excuse of a club.
