First visited Library seven years ago...

First visited Library seven years ago when I moved to Tampa. Nothing has changed. The same ripped up uneven bar stools are still there. The one think that I noticed right away was that every single person (patrons, dancers, bartender) was smoking. I know its a club, but it is sometimes hard to go back to work smelling of excessive smoke. Beer was 3.50. I was the first patron in, so as soon as I sat down, someone got up to dance. Then some others came in. There were about four dancers. One older, one young (about an 8), an attractive younger black dancer, and a plain dancer. All were really okay. I can't remember the name of the older dancer, but she sat and visited for awhile. Did a bit of nice rubbing. Offered a dance for 20 per song. But as I remebered, the dance area was wide open, kind of like the side room of a diner with some extra kitchen chairs. So I passed. I was surprised at the level of activity for a weekday. Doubt I'll be back, just a bit too smokey for my taste. But if that doesn't bother you, it seems to be a great place to grab a beer and pass some time.
