This was my second time to...

This was my second time to this club, though the first was a decade ago. I got there at about 10:30 on a Wednesday, which they advertise as no cover and Amateur Night. The no cover part was technically truth, though I did have to pay the $10 membership fee. Those of you who question the membership thing, remember that this is Ohio....you're not gonna fine nude girls in a non-membership club, and there isn't going to be alcohol. If you really need a drink that bad, take a 6-pack and leave it in your car. As far as amateur night is concerned, there was 1 girl who showed up for it, so it was a no go. She was thinking about auditioning for a job anyways, but I left before she made up her mind.

Physically, it's mostly as I remembered it. Small to mid sized stage with 8 or 10 chairs on two sides, backed with the requisite mirror wall, and a half dozen tables out on the floor. They've updated the lighting in the past five years or so, with 6 moving lights and some LED color changing lights. Throw in a mirror ball and you get the picture. All in all, about what you'd expect from a small club in the middle of nowhere.

There were only 2 dancers there, and they've only got 3 total. The had 5 until Monday, but 2 got fired for excessive absences. The 2 that were there were both friendly, fairly cute, and not pushy. At no point did I feel pressured for a dance, which is a very pleasant change from most clubs. The lap dance I got cost me $25, but it was in the semi-private VIP room, and she totally earned the money. They're strict about you keeping your hands to yourself, and they're not gonna take money for "extras" (she brought it up before the dance without any prompting from me).

All in all, this club is in a bind. Previous management drove away both customers and girls. Without more girls, they won't be getting many new customers. Without more customers, they're not going to be able to keep girls. With all of that said, I hope this place makes it. Non-pushy nude girls more than make up for this clubs shortcomings in my mind. And the new management seems to be on the right track, if they can just get more girls on the stage and customers in the seats. If you're in Springfield or north of Dayton, it's worth checking out.
