The weather was really nice and I had time to swing by my favorite club. The place was dead - perhaps due to the pleasant weather. I was hoping to see Desiree because rumor has it that she only works one day a week (Tues. or Wed.). She is an old favorite of mine. As luck would have it, she wasn't around. I sat in my usual place near the axillary bar because it is out of the "flow" of dancers who typically come up behind you and give you the "wanna dance" treatment. I've gotten to the point of saying no thanks and leaving it at that. Some ask to sit with me but I just tell them I'm waiting for someone (which is true - I'm waiting for someone who is not annoying). Saw a few new ones that I tipped at the stage but none stood out. One actually looked decent from where I was sitting but once I got close up she was flabby with stretch marks. She asked where I was sitting and I told her - she was on the main stage so I knew she would probably dance on the two satellite stages before she came by. I decided to finish my drink and get out of there before that happened. I left with most of my money and decided to try another day later in the week when I could choose from a better selection of women.
