I went to the Gold Club...

I went to the Gold Club twice, once on a Thursday night (March 7th) and then the following Friday (March 8th)– both times after 10PM. That Thursday evening was the beginning of a bad Nor’easter it was cold, windy and snowy outside. The club had maybe a dozen customers and maybe 5 or 6 dancers. The club manager, who is a friendly type, told me that it is amazing how the weather effects the business. But Friday night it was very busy with 50+ customers and about 16 to 18 dancers. Several of the customers were couples.

There are actually two clubs attached to each other – The Gold Club – which is topless and the Gold Club After Dark which is nude – I will review them separately because they are both very different.

The Gold Club has the same owners as it sister club in Hartford – it is large with great parking on the Main Street of the town and close to Interstates. It looks like it was updated recently – it is very clean and upscale without being “snooty”. The ligting is focused on the stages an bar so I is dark – but not that bad.
