Hadn't been to this club in...

Hadn't been to this club in 20+ years. Man, has it changed. Many previous reviews have adequately described the physical club properties so I won't take up space with that. I agree about the general rundown feel, but I've also been in worse. Got to the club about 1:30 pm on a Saturday. Maybe a dozen patrons at best and 4 dancers rotating through the main stage and the two little side stages. The same 4 rotated through for a couple of hours, with new girls rotating in until by 6:30 when I left, there were 13 dancers working. Based on previous reviews, I was surprised at two things. First, the overall quality of the girls was better than I was expecting given the time and day. Mostly caucasian blondes. No AA and one or two latinos. They ranged from a 3 (big ass blonde with fake tits and thick as a redwood) to a couple of 7-8's. Girl who dances by the name Styles was one of the best. More on her later. The second thing that surprised me was how I never got asked for a private dance for the first couple of hours. Seriously. Now in fairness, I did move back and forth between CR and The Fare (see review on that club page) a bit, but I spent plenty of time in the chairs and tipped every dancer at least once when they were on stage. They would rotate through the stages and then disappear or be visible hanging out with regulars. On the plus side, the chicken quesadillas were good, the had Shiner Boch in bottles and the NASCAR Nationwide race on the TV. I've spent worse Saturday afternoons even without getting some ass-grinding-in-the-lap. But, I could have also stayed home and watched the race with some good internet porn!

I had purchased the full VIP wristband at the Fare entrance ($30 before 7 pm) so I was able to go anywhere I wanted in both clubs. I started hanging around upstairs at CR and eventually, had 2 of the better looking dancers come by and sit down to chat, then asking very politely if they could get naked for me. Who ever says "no" to that question coming from a beautiful woman? Not me. Both were decent lap dances. Full hands on for me with lots of titty in the mouth. No action downtown and they were pretty hands off. Neither offered to build any chair fort or get into any extras. Kind of disappointing given that extras was one of my primary reasons for picking this pair of clubs today.

Few other notes. The DJ was your typical "I'm a Tool" trying to be impressive with the stupid DJ voice. It was a humid day and they should have had the AC on colder. By the time the girls got to the 2nd and 3rd stages, they were pretty sweaty. Felt bad for them. Waitresses were very nice, but you wouldn't go there for that scenery. Food and beer prices weren't as bad as they could have been in a club like this. Good value overall.
