As anyone who's been to Bourbon...

As anyone who's been to Bourbon Street knows, there are a number of club options here. I only had time for one in the midst of a heavily scheduled business trip, so Stiletto's became that one. How did I choose it? Well, the credit goes to Skyler (hope my spelling is correct) who was standing at the door and beckoned me in. She was a sweetie, a tall statuesque blonde with legs for days, and I spent my entire time inside with her. The best feature of the place (other than Skyler) is the location, only blocks from Canal St. where my hotel and many others are. The building is old, but old is what the French Quarter is all about after all. It's dark and is frankly a dive, but again that's what I expected. The main room is small and I only counted 5 girls - 2 white and 3 black. (May have been more that I didn't see.) It was very early in the afternoon and not many patrons were there, so the number of dancers was right for the business at that time of day. The dance floor is to the right and is rather small, but adequate. The bar is in the back and the beers were cold and reasonably priced. The bartender was nice, but the guy that took my lapdance room money was obviously a charm school reject. The VIP room pricing is really high, to the tune of $200 for 15 min. and going up from there. (Seems like clubs in general everywhere are really up-pricing those amenities. Hard to imagine in the current economy.) I opted for dances in the lap dance room, and had a good time there. They were $40 a dance, which is high in my opinion, but each song played to its full length unlike some clubs. I had a good time there. Topless and full hands on. I'll defer to others for reviews on the more private rooms out back. This is the only club I've been to in New Orleans so I can't offer comparisons with the others. I'll just say that if you're staying a few blocks away, you should give it a go.
