New girls on a daytime shift always perk me up; too bad it didn't turn out that great this time. The well-known benefits of this club draw both repeat customers and a regular crew of dancers who know the game and play it. The downside for us PLs can be that "same old, same old" feeling. New faces add some thrill of discovery to the other thrills possible.

Daytimes here can be a little slow; usually 5-7 dancers, mostly Latina, varying sizes & attractiveness; usually just 3-5 customers; usually long breaks between stage sets; always incredibly obnoxious drink push. Physical layout pretty standard, apart from the funky plastic "stadium" chairs and super-cheap plastic drink cups shaped like fru-fru cocktail glasses. But comfortable and pretty clean. Daytime admission is $15, including your first drink. Lights and music volume OK; big, 2-pole stage with lots of rail seats. Many tables on floor and along walls, with moderate privacy for the famous Flamingo "handshake" that most dancers will use during their sales talks. Bikini dances (with slippage) just $10 per, VIPS at $100 (4 songs) and $150 (6 songs, more private), no specials.

This time I saw 4 new girls: two dark-haired Latinas and a couple of "blondes" either white or Latina. All fairly athletic or even slim, with small naturals or big bolt-ons. Add in tiny regular Holly, and this is the leanest crew I've ever seen here. After watching a bit I head to the benches with a short and relatively-curvy Latina with a sultry look and some fantastic boobage named Ariel or April or something. A few good $10 dances and she suggests the VIP; I agree -- but foolishly fail to lock down terms. Then, in $150 VIP she: 1) leaves her clothes on; 2) never advances beyond SSTP; 3) short-counts the 6 songs to 3 or 4; and 4) talks steadily about what I interpret to be anger about her position in life. Can't say she was a ROB, since she never made and broke express terms (my mistake). But it was disappointing and unsatisfying. And since she blew (only) my budget, I couldn't sample other newbies. So TOFTT and error noted: stay on your game when conducting try-outs.
