I have been to Boudoir Rouge...

I have been to Boudoir Rouge in Calgary a few times now and wanted to pass along a few impressions of the place. For the Calgary strip club scene (what is left of it) BR is certainly on the upscale side. The ambiance, lighting, furniture, layout and girls are better than anything current or past. This is a club you can take your girl friend to and she may not think you are some kind of douche bag. It has a certain classiness lacking in most small market strip clubs.

The cover was something like $12 the last time I was there, so not too steep. The drink prices seem about standard for a strip club, who pays attention anyway, when there are naked girls up on the stage urging you to throw loonies at their snatch?

The place can get really busy on a Friday or Saturday night, to the point where you have to push your way thru the crowds. So if you are looking for a place to park your ass, you may not find one after 9 or so. It is a pretty decent size place but when it is busy it seems pretty crowded.
