Passing through Indiana on a Monday...

Passing through Indiana on a Monday afternoon and decided to check out Polekatz. Yes, I know that Monday afternoon isn't prime time, but still expect to be treated like a paying customer. I guess that was too much to expect despite the fact that for a significant time, I was the only customer in the place.

On the plus side, the club is nice, not run down, clean, and did not smell from the previous night's cigarette smoke. The waitress was attentive, helpful and professional. There was a free lunch buffet (Italian beef sandwiches that day). So, if I was just looking for a beer and a sandwich this would be a much stronger review. Surprisingly, there were 6 girls on duty so I was looking for some variety. The girls were nice looking, but not spectacular. Overall, the kind of place I'm comfortable in.

Unfortunately it was a complete and total waste of 60 minutes. After paying a $5 cover, they ran 2 song tips followed by 3 song breaks with no dancers. Only one dancer was topless at any time during her turn and that was only in response to a tip (I tip all dancers as a rule). When I commented on this, one dancer replied that "this was just for show and if I wanted to see her topless I needed to buy a dance". This was ironic since except for the first 10 minutes that I was there, no one asked me for a tip. Another dancer told me that they only go topless "when there is a bigger crowd".
