I suppose if there's a strip club institution around here, Acrop is it. I guess I just had to see why it gets the most word of mouth rep. It can't just be the steaks, right?

I went on a Saturday night around midnight, $5 cover. Place is packed with both men and women out on the town. Place is physically an old dive with three different rooms/areas, each with its own stage. I was a little disappointed, but oh well. I sit down at one stage, and tipped away. With so many people around, the ladies have a tough time splitting their time during their sets. I suppose that the crowd and amount of people tipping is responsible for the tameness of their performances. Most action at the rack I got was seeing an up close ass slap. Slightly lame.

After about an hour jumping from stage to stage trying to find a girl I liked, there wasn't one. They were mostly slightly older girls, maybe in their late 20's/early 30's, pretty slim and flat. Keep in mind, this was the first place I'd been to on my own, so I didn't really know what to do. Then a girl I hadn't seen before made her way to one rack. Her body was slim with nothing really to grab onto, but she had an amazing face that I just really liked. Dumb, younger me asked her for a dance off the bat, and she obliged. The lap dance area is not private at all. Not even a lame sheer or beaded curtain to cordon it off. Yeah, anyone could just look in. I was hoping the night could turn up with an amazing dance. Lo and behold, it was kind of a major disappointment. She did poses, slaps, and essentially let me smell her hair. It was an air dance. Sad. The only thing remotely great about it was she wore my Nationals fitted, and looked really hot doing so.
