This review encompasses two Saturday night visits to Roxy’s three weeks apart. The entrance fee was $10, the standard cover in this area. With a paid admission, you could go to any other VCG Holdings club on the East Side without paying an additional cover for that particular night, including the PT’s across the street. A domestic beer was $6.25. Most of the music was hip hop, and the DJ was actually kind of funny.

The inside of the club features three tabletop stages in a tic-tac-toe diagonal line. This club is all nude and contact is generous two-way at the stages for just a buck or two. There is a small bar in front of you as you walk in. The back of the club has a shower stall in the wall for Roxy’s infamous shower shows. For the club to put one on, someone needs to pay the club $100. Then the club charges $5 to each patron that wants to watch the shower show, as one-third of the club gets curtained off so non-payers cannot watch the show. On my first visit I caught a shower show that was paid for by a bachelor party. Two of the hotter dancers, Lexi and Bella, got naked and started washing each other. Then, they started eating each other out. Next, they started shoving a beaded dildo type of toy into each others pussies and assholes. Finally, a chair was put into the shower and the bachelor was stripped to his boxers and tossed in with the strippers. At one point the toy came out of one of the girl’s asses and was put on the soon-to-be-married man’s face. On my second visit, no one ponied up $100 to initiate the shower show, much to this clubber’s dissatisfaction. If Roxy’s is putting one on, pay the $5 to see it. It will be the best $5 you will have ever spent in a strip club.

The dancers are generally average looking. One Saturday night there were twelve dancers working, and on the second Saturday there were fifteen entertainers. Although Brooklyn is the oldest town in the United States incorporated by African-Americans, only a third of the ladies here are ebony. This club is lower tiered compared to its sister clubs in Sauget, which seem to get the best talent of the VCG group of clubs. However, you will be able to find a 7 or two on a good night, maybe even an out-of-place 8. What makes the dancers here attractive is the fact that they are very frisky. Hands will never be pushed away here for touching too much. I have had buck naked dancers jump off the stage and grinded on me stageside, then grab my hand and put it on their bare beaver. I have even seen a guy get pulled on stage and get his pants ripped open and underwear ripped off. It does need to be said that this place has a few dancers that belong in a carnival freak show, and not a titty bar such as an anorexic chick with goofy-looking bolt-ons and a 45 year old Chinese woman. Lap dances are done in private booths at $40 or 3/$100, but prices can be negotiated with some ladies. A wristband needs to be bought in order to get private dances.
