When compared to other clubs in Tampa, it's hard to find better value for your money in the VIP Room than at the Gold Club. While most clubs in the area charge 200+ for a half hour VIP, Gold Club's rates are a more reasonable $75 for 15 minutes, $150 for 30 + some cheap champagne, and $300 for a full hour. Regular lap dances are $25 per song with hourly 2 for $30 specials which work well for seeing which dancers are good for a little extra. I've been offered everything from standard fare to full service, so choose wisely since YMMV depending on the dancer.

The club is a large and spacious former warehouse building, but reasonably nice inside with a runway stage in the corner, a center stage in the middle or the room, and two bars with area for the dancers to dance around on them as well. Drinks are kind of expensive, generally $4 for non-alcoholic or $8+ for alcoholic beverages. The VIP room is hidden from the main area but not very hidden from other patrons or any management who happen to wander back there. I'm not quite sure how the dancer who offered me full service planned to do what she promised given the lack of curtains or doors for privacy once you're back there in your cube, but I imagine tipping the door guy well had to be involved.

As far as dancers, they range from 6-8 on average, with a few duds sprinkled in. Not bad but not Mons or 2001 quality. Pasties being required is probably the biggest drawback of this club, but the right dancer would probably happily remove them in a VIP. All in all, not a bad club. You'l find prettier dancers and more mileage at other places, but for the value, alcohol, and potential for extras, it might be worth a look as an alternative to the juice bars and high prices elsewhere.
