Ten years ago, when I visited...

Ten years ago, when I visited South Florida, Diamond Dolls was my favorite club. I dropped by Friday afternoon for the first time in a long time. The physical plant is unchanged; same shade of purple exterior paint, same signage, same long, narrow main stage running parallel to the bar. The big change was in the quality and age of the dancers. I became a fan of Diamond Dolls back in the day mainly because of the hot, friendly Latinas who were reliably available there. Last Friday, many of the dancers were basically moms in slinky gowns. The club still has a laid back vibe, and I had fun with a MILF in the private dance booth, but the hotties of the late 90s were not on shift that day.

Most customers appeared to be regular, blue collar guys there to finish off the work week. Table dances were $10 with reasonable contact; the private booths were either $25/song in a curtained room shared with others, or 3/$100 for a small curtained booth just big enough for you and the dancer. Frisky two-way contact in the booths. No pressure for VIP rooms in my case; I didn't inquire about price and options.

I'll be back in SoFla in a month, and will visit again, but on this trip the Cheetah Pompano had far better talent on display.
