Friday afternoon was my day for the "Pompano Beach trifecta"--i visited Cheetah, Diamond Dolls, and the Booby Trap. At least on that day, Cheetah was the most enjoyable, by far.

The club is easy to find on NW 31st St.; $2 fee for parking, no cover, free lunch (decent food, great value). Even as early as 12:30 pm, the place was bustling with energy. Dancers on four stages, all visible from a seat at the bar. The dancers on shift were SoFla beauties at their best--something for everyone in terms of ethnicity and appearance, and on the whole very attractive. Lots of customers on hand for a Friday liquid lunch; while many dancers hung out with regulars, a fair number circulated for table dances and more. I was molested (in a good way) by a gorgeous young Colombian. We started with a few high mileage $10 dances at the bar, followed by unhurried conversation, followed by a memorable visit to the VIP at $25/song. All in all, a dream experience for me (confessing my adoration of Latin women). Later, had some more dances from a slender, natural brunette with a delightful touch and beautiful eyes. Overall, no hard-sell for tips or dances, just good karma.

I visited again Saturday afternoon, and had another good experience. The club is well-run, clean (if a little smoky for those of us who live where bars are smoke-free), with good sight lines and lighting to appreciate the dancing. Most of all, I liked the vibe--good attitude and energy from dancers and wait staff, and a bunch of customers having a good time. I'm already making plans to return on my next visit to Florida.
