Cheetah Hallendale is a nice club...
Cheetah Hallendale is a nice club that may have been having an "off" shift. I stopped in for lunch around 2:00 pm Thursday afternoon. Free parking, no cover, received a raffle ticket (someone won a $25 bar tab). The club is large inside; there were dancers on two stages, one in the center of the bar near the entrance, the other across the club (and not visible from the side of the bar I was sitting on). Servers were friendly and efficient; the free lunch was at least as good as what I would have paid $10 for at the airport.
Dancers were reasonably attractive (6-8) but most didn't seek interaction. I was in the club for 90 minutes, and did not receive a single "ask" for a dance. I tipped the dancers I watched on the bar stage, and only two bothered to thank me after their set. Most dancers hung out with regulars, or sat among themselves. One dancer finally sat down with me; I bought her a drink, and two sips later her cell phone rings, she excuses herself, and disappears with her drink! I left about ten minutes later, out of boredom, but never saw phonegirl again.
This was my only visit to the club, and maybe it was just bad timing. FWIW, the next two afternoons I visited Cheetah Pompano Beach (reviewed separately) and had a fantastic time both days. The Cheetah Hallandale is a beautiful club, and seemed well-managed, but on this visit it fell short of expectations.
