The Penthouse has fallen off big...

The Penthouse has fallen off big time. It is no longer a true strip club. It is more like a lounge that has strippers. Let me give you all the 4-1-1 on “The House.”

Till last night, I hadn’t visited this club in over six months. I think the last time I was there was with my friend in August 2012 and we did not enjoy the experience at all. The place had lost most of its top talented dancers by August 2012. But at this time last year (February 2012) “The House” also known as “The Penthouse” was the best strip club in DC and top three in the DC/PG County area. That’s right… I considered the House to be far better than the famous “Stadium Club” because Stadium club is pretty much an OVER hyped, super expensive lounge that has “B Grade” strippers. And no lap dances are allowed at the Stadium Club which simply defeats the fundamental purpose of a strip club.

The House on the other hand at this time a year ago had top-notch strippers like “Mulan,” “Fancy,” and the famous “Mocha.” The music was on point as well with rap or club R&B. And lap dances were the norm for $10 per song. But now in February 2013 the club is filled with female patrons (dykes). I would say the crowd there is now 55% female and 45% male. Not good. Also, I only saw five dancers there ON A FRIDAY NIGHT at 11pm! Not good at all. The same rotation of flat back “C Grade” dancers got me bored quickly! To be blunt with you… the waitresses looked better than the damn strippers. Seriously. The dancers at the current Penthouse are more like models mixed with home girls from around the way. No big booties here anymore like Mocha or Mulan. Just pin thin strippers and home girls. Not good.
