I started going to Soobies to...
I started going to Soobies to mix things up. It has one really big stage/dance area and a smaller pole area in te back that dancers seem to practice on. They do serve food and have some nice happy hour specials. Bouncer, staff and DJ were all friendly and gave good service. They also have lottery games, which is a must for me in terms of a full strip club experience.
Soobies kinda fits the mold of a dive bar type of strip club in that it is not that big nor is it really nice. There are a bunch of booths like you would find at a Denny's and few tables and chairs, but not much to it. The rest room was clean but because the club is small, I had the unfortunate event of some one dropping a deuce and the whole club smelling bad for a while. Can't be helped, but this is the difference between a dive bar strip club and bigger places.
The dancers really vary. Some are so good that they probably should be working some where better while some are so bad that they probably shouldn't be dancing at all. So it can be a real gamble where you never know what you might get. But because it is a gamble, at least you have the chance to actually win while other clubs you may be better off not wasting your time.
One thing I really like about Soobies is the diversity of dancers. Caucasian, African-American, Hispanic and even Asian can all be found there. I have a hard time finding Asian dancers at all and often times they are not quality. I've seen a few decent Asian dancers which is the real selling point for me as I can see the other races at basically any other club in the area.
