One of the nice features about Coliseum is that it serves really good food. If you haven't tried there tomato basil bisque I highly recommend it. I usually enjoy it with a BLT that I can't finish. That explains why I happened to be in here around 5:00 PM on a Wednesday. Was finished working for the day, hadn't eaten lunch and almost always like the ambience at Coli. The club is nice, and the staff is usually friendly. As I smoke, I don't have to worry about the air quality many complain about, although I don't think it's particularly noxious in there. Where this club continues to disappoint is in the quality of the dancers - at least during the day shift. Seriously there wasn't a girl on stage all afternoon who didn't need to lose at least a few pounds, and some of them were downright chunky. Granted my tastes run more toward "spinner" types but there were only a couple of girls here that I would have considered enjoying some dances with, and only because they weren't too supersized and had very pretty faces.

I ended up sticking around until after 7:00, in part to see if it was just a day thing. There was some improvement in the new girls that appeared during the review, and one in particular really caught me eye - a leggy ash blonde with cute features. As she hit the stage right after the review, I enjoyed her show and dropped a $20 bill on her as she was finishing up in anticipation of spending some quality time with her. After she finished she immediately went over to hang out with her friend at a table with a couple of guys, none of whom spent any cash on dances during the next 45 minutes I was there. Now that's fine, but a $20 stage tip usually gets me some attention!
