A couple of weeks ago I stopped at Heartbreakers on a Thursday evening after Platinum Plus had nothing good to offer in the late afternoon. It was about 9:00 when I got there and it certainly seems the tide is shifting back to Heartbreakers being the better club. I stood at the bar for about 10 minutes before a pair of cuties approached – a white girl and a mixed girl both around 20 years old. They were very handsy kept me entertained for quite awhile. It was probably 30-40 minutes later before they even mentioned a lap dance. Eventually I picked one to go to the back with me for $25/song and her dances were as satisfying as any. It’s the most I’ve paid for dances there but if any are worth the increase from the former norm of 2 for $30, these were so I was okay with it.

The crowd was rather small and tame this night. Columbia doesn’t really have the population to keep all its strip clubs crowded during the week like Atlanta does. Several girls were talking about going to Platinum Plus in hopes of more guys but I tried to tell them it’s not any better. PP had even fewer customers (and dancers).

The club is moving sometime this year to a location closer to the airport and presumably away from the high visibility place on Bush River Rd. From the sounds of it, it will be bigger and may try to be more upscale.
