Hustler used to be my favorite...

Hustler used to be my favorite Detroit area club: reasonably priced, variable but generally attractive dancers who provided excellent customer service, and fantastic private dance facilities. Then the corporate managers decided to clean house and removed the doors from most of the private dance areas, jacked up prices and put an end to any fun in the VIP area. Now there's a good business model-- increase prices and decrease the quality of your product and see what happens to the customer base. Since the corporate "intervention," I've directed most of my SC visits to the other fine establishments in Detroit that have a better business model- BTs, Toy Chest, Flight Club, Penthouse, Bogarts, etc.

Curiosity got the better of me and I decided to make another visit to Hustler. I arrived at lunch time on a Friday afternoon to find the parking lot covered with snow and only one car visible. I nearly drove by, assuming that the club was closed, but I noticed several cars parked out back so I pulled up to the parking valet station in front of the club. Seeing no parking valet, I opened the club door to make sure the club was open, it was so I parked my car and entered. There was one dancer on the stage and one other customer at the bar. Turns out the dancer on stage was the one and only dancer who was working. She was reasonably attractive (maybe a 7 but my overall rating of a 3 reflects that she was the one and only dancer on duty). She gave me the run down on the costs for a lap dance ($30 for a dance which is 5 to 20 dollars more than dances at the other Detroit clubs)and the cost to access any of the more private suites on the second floor (200-450 depending on the amount of time that you desire). I stayed long enough to finish a beer.

On the positive side, the filet that the dancer was eating looked pretty good. Unless the club is really hopping at night, I really don't see any reason to stop by Hustler, unless you want a filet at a decent price.
