Came here as the first stop...

Came here as the first stop on a bachelor party, around 8:00. I don't think we paid cover. The club is the size of a small cafe, and there is one small stage, which is elevated. There was a pretty diverse set of dancers [and music], which was kind of cool. It wasn't just techno and silicone. One dancer even did an old school burlesque act. Only saw each girl while she was on stage, none of them were milling around trying to give lap dances. I guess if you wanted a dance, you would have to ask the girl while she was on stage, or maybe ask one of the bar staff. The beer was pretty inexpensive, can't speak for the food. All in all, Mary's isn't bad, it just wasn't amazing. It had a much more laid back atmosphere compared to other Portland clubs. Not a bad place to have a beer or two, and a bar with boobs beats a bar with Sportscenter any day.
