The instructions say to try to convince other strip club hounds why they should or should not visit. I don't think that criteria is completely fair for this club. This is a place that is completely skippable, but isn't bad enough that I would suggest no one go. It falls into a strange middle ground where isn't not a bad choice depending on your situation, but if you CAN go a little farther to a better club, you SHOULD.

Some background on the place. It was established over 50 years ago and has been at its current location in Columbia in one form or another since that time. It is currently grandfathered in under those laws, but the neighborhood and local government don't want it there. About 10-15 years ago the club was a pasties club with a full bar. The owner at that time was promoting "extras" and when Uncle LEO swept in the club lost its liquor license, and the owner sold the club to the current owner (before he went to spend some time with the state). At that point, the current owner switched the club to a full-nude BYOB establishment. A few years ago the locals whined and the town forced them to be a BYOB pasties club. Currently they are before the township trying to get permission for the club to be fully nude. The town wants them gone, and is trying political games to illegally get rid of them.

The Club itself is in a residential area in a not-so-great part of Columbia. I've never felt really uncomfortable going in, but I definitely make sure my car is locked and any valuables are well hidden. Depending on the time of day/weather expect dirty looks and sometimes comments from the idiot neighbors (they act like the club wasn't there before they were born...). Inside the club definitely shows its age, its not poorly maintained, just dated. The current owner has made some upgrades and changes over time, but the work isn't as broadly sweeping as it could be, you can tell he's made some upgrades in some places but in others the club still has its original fittings. There are two stages, one near the front of the club and one in about the middle next to the "bar." I've only ever seen the middle stage occupied once or twice, most of the action happens at the main stage (a small 5' x 5' stage with mirrors on two sides and a pole). Seating is inconvenient to the stage at best, with some seats in a good spot (about 8) and the rest in a bad spot to see the main stage. Most regulars sit around the bar, and seem to ignore the stage show. The lap dance room is in the back of the club and is only somewhat private (you can see back there pretty easily from the bar, and the owner has been known to stand there gawking at the dancers.) The seating in the lap dance room is remarkable for how uncomfortable it is. You really CAN'T settle down comfortably to enjoy yourself. Hands off is the rule of law here as well. All of that said, the dancers usually do their best with what they have, and the private dances are usually decent enough (for a pasty club). Honestly, for me, uncomfortable seats and semi-public seating aside, I usually enjoy the private dances at this club.
