The first thing you should know...

The first thing you should know about the Living Room is that the dancers don't get topless on stage. They wear skimpy outfits, dance around, receive tips, but it's all PG-rated. This makes the place feel like a strip club on network TV. It also means that in order to get anything like a normal strip club experience (assuming you're there to see naked women), you're going to have to pony up a minimum twenty bucks for a lapdance. And if you want a nude lapdance, it's $40. I visited at 1:30 AM -- almost closing time. A dancer immediately sat down next to me and started chatting, but I didn't mind -- there's really not much of a show happening on stage, so you won't miss anything. I was surprised how crowded the place was despite this policy. I splurged on a nude 30-minute private dance, for $200. This is the first time I'd done anything like this, in any club. Things started on kind of a sour note when the dancer took me over to talk with management about reserving one of the little private booths. In order to claim a booth, the club required her to pay $105 up-front. I imagine that this is the usual policy at any club, but it was a little disconcerting to have to wait and watch the club take its cut. Can't they keep track of this stuff well enough to claim their money later, not right in front of the customer? Dance was fully nude, which required the dancer to remove her pasties along with other clothing -- not sure she would have extended this courtesy for a standard one-song dance. Dancer allowed roaming hands, up to and including FIV. But otherwise just a standard lapdance (though I got the sense that more might have been possible for the right price). No extras asked or offered. A bonus was that nobody came to shoo us out of the booth when the 30 minutes were up, and I think I got an extra 2 or 3 songs (though this might have been just because they were about to close for the night). All in all, a pretty decent lapdance experience, but lapdances get expensive fast, and the lack of nudity on stage means there's no cheaper way to enjoy yourself.
