Found myself in Durham recently and decided to try out a club near my hotel. Diamond Girls was closest, and I had read some decent reviews so decided to check it out. The club is in a mixed business/residential area. I was there late so did not see much. Seemed OK - sort of in the middle of nowhere. Not a fancy area but did not seem dangerous. The club is a freestanding building with a large parking lot out front.

Went in, paid cover, and saw the club. Medium sized room, lots of tables and chairs, bar to the right, stage to the front/left. There is a little smoking "annex" to the right of the bar that had a few patrons and two dancers hanging out in it - I went there first. It has some dirty looking furniture in it - I stood instead. Other than the guys in the smoking room, the club was empty. The dancers in there were tall, skinny, black dancers - both were reasonably attractive, but I did not talk to them at all as they were tied up the whole time. I went back into the club itself where there was a different dancer on stage. I sat in the empty room for a bit. Decided to tip the dancer on stage some (white, long dark hair, avg build and looks - prob. a 6/10) and she came over afterwards (who else was she going to see...). She offered a dance and I accepted. She seemed friendly enough.

Walk up a staircase by the bar to a lap dance room. At the top you go into a room straight ahead (it seemed like there were more rooms up there but I did not get to look around). The lap dance room has a few different areas, set off by some partitions. It is lowly lit but not too dark. It is semi-private but not very (i.e. no curtains). However, I was the only one up there so hard to say how much you can see of others. She took off her bikini top and the dances started. Decent grind, some two way touching (up top). Pretty mellow. She was not too adventurous/"roamy" but neither I was I so it worked ok. I guess I would say I enjoyed it, but I was not wowed.
