I visited in the middle of...

I visited in the middle of the afternoon on a Wednesday. There was one main bar that left just enough room to walk around the outside to find a seat. There were a few pool tables in the back. There were 3 dancers and only one other customer. It was very easy to strike up a conversation with one of the dancers. Because I was the second customer that afternoon, she joked with me about whether I was lost. We had a very low pressure, easy time, getting to the point where we actually shared pics of our kids. We went back to the couch dance room and had a few dances that didn't knock my socks off, but they were enjoyable. She didn't try too hard to up-sell to the high-priced VIP Room, but she made me aware of the options available. Again, because of the minimal attendance, she said I made her day. I was not too focussed on the one lady to not ignore the other dancers. With only three, there was no dollar parade, but I did tip them liberally. For the kind of treatment I got while playing hookie from work on my birthday, I'll try and get back and hopefully renew acquaintences.
