I had to come here to see if I could find the incredible Bella/Natalie to woo her with my proclamations of undying love and let her break my heart. Just kidding. Sorry, couldn't help myself. :)

I've wanted to check this club out for a while, as I haven't been in it for at least ten years and was intrigued by the other tuscl posts and wide variety of review opinions, but I have to admit it took me a while because I couldn't quite psych myself up for the possible "dump" experience. A big part of the SC experience for me is the atmosphere, and from other reviews I figured I shouldn't expect much going in, but wondered if the other Bogart's features would be enough for me to want to return.

If you don't know the area, it's not bad. I wouldn't wander around Inkster too much, but the club is on Michigan Avenue which is as big a thoroughfare as you can get - busy and well lit. Got to Bogart's about 6:00, parked right by the door for free. First impression was about what I expected - yeah, it's a dump. No doubt about that. Inside, the place was equally dismal in appearance, and fairly busy. I would say there were around 20 customers. The bar was full so I grabbed a spot at a hi-top, ordered a cocktail and sat back to soak it in!
