I dropped in about 5:30 while...

I dropped in about 5:30 while in town on business. There was no cover and the gal at the front gave me a wrist band. I had not done my homework and was surprised that this was a BYOB bar--more than anything I wanted a beer while looking at some corn fed Midwest gals. Well the two gals I saw in the few minutes I were there were definitely corn fed. Not huge but just a bot too overweight for my tastes. There were actually quite a few quys there stage side so the ratio was not too good. On the way out the nice gal at the front (she was better looking than the dancers) told me that there were some nearby convenience stores where I could get some beer--but that hard alcohol was not allowed. Maybe next time I'm in Des Moines I'll give it another try. This place is huge and I'm sure it could get rocking on a weekend night.
