The club is currently renovating to...

The club is currently renovating to meet RI code (changed since the Station Fire). The renovations mostly are to add a sprinkler system, but there are a few others too. The main bar upstairs at the entrance has been re-built recently and is a nice place to sit while watching the new Plasma TV behind the bar. Lots more room behind the bar so you can watch the bartenders (some of the best looking women in the place if I do say so myself). Fomerly there were 2 mens rooms upstairs between the main bar and the main stage. These are now closed for the renovation, and you have to go downstairs for the facilities. The main stage doesn't look like it's been changed yet... but I could be wrong. They have more new Plasma TV's in the main room, I think I've just found the place where I'm going to watch sports if I have to do it inside this summer/fall.

The Gold Room downstairs hasn't been changed at all. Yet. I hear from some that they'll tackle that once they finish the upstairs.

It seems like it's been really slow at the club lately, but it could just be that I'm showing up on the slow nights. Looks like there are several new bouncers too. Not sure if they are trying to clean up, or loosen up. I'll figure it out in the next few weeks.

As usual the dances are 20/30 for w/wo panties, champagne/vip room is $$$ for the drink and at least 250 for the girl (depends on the girl, most are 300 - I think that's the club policy?) for one hour.

Even with the renovation, the "slow" atmosphere, and some other minor annoyances I think this club is still one of the best in Providence. Sunday afternoons have been great. They hand out raffle tickets at the entrance and you can win on of many different prizes. I've seen people wina free VIP card ($150-275 value), dinner from the Grille (it's not that bad... but I don't usually eat here), a dance, and a drink.
