I am not a frequent visitor...

I am not a frequent visitor to this club, but had little choice this past Friday night, so I decided to give it a try again. The weather in Greenville, SC was pretty cold this past Friday plus we had some snow, sleet, & freezing rain throughout the day. This prompted all the strip clubs that I normally visit in the area to close except for Platinum...I am guessing due to safety issues/liabilities if anyone had a wreck or a dancer slipped on the ice outside with their heels or something :). It was really not that bad outside and I am from the South, but folks around here freak out at the very mention of frozen stuff on the ground and run to the grocery store for bread, milk, and other stuff and must hunker down @ home afterwards :).

There are 2-3 of the more "mature" dancers that I do like to visit when at Platinum, but none were working that night. I would guess that there were 25-30 patrons in the club at the time (including several I knew from the other clubs) and around 20 dancers on duty...pretty pitiful crowd for this place at 10pm on a Friday night. I will give them a benefit of a doubt as to the dancer quality because of the weather, but most were either 1) way too skinny or 2) way too big for my tastes and none rated above a 7 in the looks department.

Apparently there are no drink specials on Friday nights like the other clubs in the area. When I asked about that, the bartender gave me a weird look. I ordered house vodka and paid pretty much what I would pay for premium vodka at the other places. The 2 beers I got were also more expensive too. I guess you are paying more for the "Platinum" touch or something.
