I decided to check out Cheetah...

I decided to check out Cheetah a couple of times earlier this month. I tend to forget that the Cheetah is actually a pretty good place. On this trip, I ate a late lunch (a very good Philly). The food was overpriced as are the non-contact table dances but that is all that is overpriced. Valet parking is still just $3. You can't park anywhere else in midtown that I know of for that rate and cover was free before 4pm. I arrived between 3 and 3:30 both times.

We all know the Cheetah is a pretty posh place and the girls are well spoken - not seedy at all, like most of Atlanta's strip clubs. It's a place you might dress up to go to and can take business clients and the like. The place is huge and gets jam packed late at night. During the day, the bars are still mostly full but tables are mostly empty. Typical. I still have never gotten a table dance of VIP there but I consider it every time. I can't justify spending $10 just to see a woman dance in front of me for 3.5 minutes and every time I go with the mindset that I'm just going to watch and chat (and presumably spend less money than if I went elsewhere and got several lap dances. I probably should change my mindest to something more along the lines of: "I won't waste money on a table dance but I will go to VIP if a cute interesting lady is available and can guarantee leaving happy. I have been quotes between $150 and $190 including the house cut for the VIP room before 9pm. After that, the house starts charging some insane amount to go to VIP. I guess the demand just skyrockets and they take full advantage of it. Anyway, several dancers have said that anything is available in VIP for the said amount above but I'm not quite sure I believe it. These girls are a class above all other ATL strip clubs, which mostly charge the same amount (150-200).
