Stopped by here on my own...

Stopped by here on my own one week night both to kill some time before a dinner party and to finally check this place out. There's a movie theater across the street I frequent so I was well aware of the Squire, since it stands out with it's castle design.

I've never been to the "old" Squire (apparently it's under new management and been heavily renovated in recent years) so I can't compare "old" and "new". However, what I saw of the Squire, I liked quite a bit. Going through Squire's website, it seems to be under the same ownership as Tens in Salisbury, MA and the Golden Banana in Saugus, MA. Having been to both of those clubs, I can definitely see the similarities between all three. First, there is a $10 cover like Tens and GB. The interior is very posh, with a nice bar and plush chairs. It's much smaller than GB and Tens, but there only 6 or 7 other guys in there when I visited. I would imagine it would be very crowded on weekend nights. Also, like GB and Tens, is the expensive drinks. Prepare to pay $7 for a beer and god knows what for liquor. I guess it's par for the course, but it was still a shock having spent most of my recent club visits in Rhode Island, where drinks aren't as pricey. The stage is pretty long and takes up a good portion of the club. There's plenty of seating around it and nearby if you don't want to tip. I alternated between the stage and regular seating.

The women inside were very attractive. There were about 6 or 7 I saw on the floor (I was there about and hour). I watched 4 dancers get on stage and each was very hot. There was a variety of ethnicities represented, not just "white" as the club profile states. The dancers of course get full nude, though don't expect any mileage from just stage tipping; it is Massachusetts afterall. There was one girl in particular that caught my eye. Can't remember her name, but she looked Armenian or Lebanese, and was just amazing to look at. Unfortunately, I couldn't get her attention as she spent her time on the other end of the stage and after getting off, immediately went to the bar with some regulars. I had hopes of getting a lap dance from her, but since that was shot, I decided to save my money for next time. Overall, a good club and I would definitely go back again.
