Had a bad management experience here....

Had a bad management experience here. Started well: free daytime admission, $5 drink, $100 15-minute VIP special on Tuesdays. Sort of a dingy place, but it's the scenery not the scene that matters. And there's the first problem. Only maybe 2 dancers on stage/circulating for the first 10-15 minutes I was inside; both were large girls that really had little business stripping (altho one was a pretty good pole dancer). Once 4-5 customers came in, another 5 or so girls appeared from the back. Three/four more chubbies, and two average/athletic types. Oddly, virtually none worked the room; most sat texting.

I sat at the rail, as I wanted to scope the roster (it was my first time here in a year or two) with hope a hottie would eventually appear. I guess my $2 stage tips weren't appreciated, as the third stage dancer (in maybe 1/2 hour) kicked my drink all over me. Well, shit happens; so I went back to the bar for a refill. The waitress went "missing" for 4-5 songs, leaving me standing there. The DJ was looking right at me. At least 4 dancers could see me standing there (at least when they looked up from their phones), shucking water off my pants and becoming more impatient. Yet no one did or said a thing. I just wanted a stinking refill, not dry cleaning costs or anything. So after 15 minutes, out I walked. Complained to the doorman, but he obviously didn't give a shit. Saw no one looking/acting like a manager. Hope those girls don't tip out the waitress, as she certainly cost them my business. You'd think a corporate club like this (Spearmint Rhino chain) would have a handle on customer service, but this place was amateur hour all the way.
