I visited the Gold Club in Groton when I flew into CT earlier in the week, so I decided to give this one a visit before flying back to CA. Both clubs are the same in structure. There’s an ‘alcohol’ topless side, Cabaret, and a ‘no-alcohol’ nude side, After Dark. Smoking is permitted in the no-alcohol side only. You pay a $10 cover at the nude side with a two $5 drink minimum, so it’s $20 to get in, and you can go back-and-forth once you’ve gotten the hand-stamp. Both clubs; Groton and Hartford, are pretty tame, but the girls are consistently of high caliber at both. The music is not too loud and the wings are pretty good. I did by a couple of $35 nude dances at the club in Hartford. The mileage was good, but again, it was pretty tame. I just couldn’t leave without spending some private time with this girl; she called herself Star. No extras, no hassle, just good times for an old guy on the road.
