I haven't been in the FC...

I haven't been in the FC in a long, long time, but decided I had to check it out again what with it being one of the top rated MI clubs on TUSCL! Rolled in around 2:30 looking to get some lunch along with my visual stimulation, and see where that led me.

The club is nice, although smaller than I remembered or expected. I suppose this is the result of their failed casino plan. It's still very nice inside and the layout is nice. I took a seat at the bar and eventually flagged down the bartender to get my beverage ordered and request a menu. Ordered a chicken pasta dish that was on special for $11.

I'm sure everyone has different expectations of their club choices, mine involve a complete experience. I don't mind the prices being over the top, because that's the price of admission to "the show." Having said that, I expect a premium experience, with very attentive service and quality food and beverages along with some enjoyable viewing. Honestly, I feel let down by FC after this visit. My first issue was the service. I sat for several minutes before I finally got up and flagged the bartender down (who was busy chatting with co-workers) to get a drink order and menu. Once that was done I sat back on perused the dancers. Overall I wasn't that impressed. I would say 6's with a couple of 7's who were locked up with other customers, and some 5's and 4's. Most were little on the heavy side and I was approached by one gal who had to be pushing 50.
