I was finally able to make...

I was finally able to make a trip to Follies on my way to pick up a family member at the Atlanta Airport on New Years Day. I live in upstate South Carolina and by the time I got to town there was only about an hour left to visit the club before heading to the airport. It was raining heavily that day and the New Years traffic was pretty intense the last hour before getting into that part of Atlanta. I arrived at the club around 1:30pm before the valet was on duty and the lady at the front told me there was no cover charge. She did give me a pretty good "pat down" as others have mentioned and that was enjoyable.

Upon entering the club, I did notice sort of a weird smell in the room. It was not anything that the patrons were smoking or any of the people I was near, but more like they had some plumbing issues if you get my drift :). The mens bathroom was ok though, so it may have been something else. Anyhow, it was not overpowering or anything so I went on to find a seat at the bar since the outer tables/chairs were already taken.

Bartender service was quick and the vodka drinks I had were strong and reasonably priced (less than $5 each I believe). I also had a beer and it was good and cold. I saw those crackers that others have mentioned, but did not partake since I had just had lunch.
