I hit up Miss Kitty’s on a cold December Saturday night. The club is right off the interchange of I-64 and Kingshighway. The parking lot was fairly lit and seemed safe enough. You need to be “door buzzed” to enter the club. The cover was $10. The bar is to your immediate right when entering. Three tabletop stages are straight ahead of you on the back wall. A smoking shelter is to the immediate left which always had dancers loitering in it. The club was pretty dead for 9pm on a Saturday night: maybe 12 dancers and as many customers. As I came into the club, I was immediately pounced on by a dancer. She starts grabbing my dingdong through my jeans. She immediately suggests going back to the VIP area. I think she quoted $325 for a half hour, anything goes. When I said “No”, she tried to get me to buy single dances. I believe they were $30-40 per song and a $10 wristband needed to be bought. What a rip off, especially for the way the talent looks here. A Budweiser bottle was $5. Import bottles were $6. The music selection left a little to be desired. I think I heard some country songs. Cartoons were being played on the club’s antique flat screen television. The ambience here is strange.

The dancers were overall very rough. Most dancers had to have been in their thirties. Most showed signs of childbirth. Most smoked. Most of the dancers just sat with regulars here and put little effort into their stage turn. The entertainers were in the 3-5 range on my personal scale. Out of the twelve or so dancers on shift, Dani, a 7, appealed the most to me. She had a unique costume and looked like the pornstar Dylan Ryder sans ten pounds. I went to her stage and tipped her about $15. (In general, this place was so dead that you got stage mileage for a single Washington.) After she got done, she didn’t even come to sit with me. Instead she sat with a non-spender. It was actually no big deal because there was something off about her. She kept making a sound like she was sucking her saliva or something while dancing. I am not sure what this is a symptom of, but perhaps she is on drugs like a lot of the other dancers working here. ITC and OTC are readily available just like most Washington Park establishments. Overall, I do not think I will be coming back to Miss Kitty’s.
