Kamikaze's was closed for 5 months...

Kamikaze's was closed for 5 months for exterior remodeling, but has opened again under the name Velocity Club. It's exactly the same as it used to be, just with a new name and nicer exterior. Pretty much everything I said in my review from 2010 still applies. This is a bar with exotic bartenders from 3pm until 9pm. Then it becomes just a regular bar/nightclub. One thing I will add. The bartenders are not always nude during exotic hours, although they are always dressed pretty skimpy. It depends on how many customers there are and if people are tipping. The gals say they don't really want to be naked if no one is tipping or if almost no one is there. In one way, I can understand this. Kamikaze's seems like place where a lot of the customers are cheap. On the other hand, this means it could be hit or miss. I'm not on of the locals. Kamikaze's is a 30 minute drive for me. While the place is an OK bar, the exotic bartenders are really the only reason to go here. I think the gals should be nude at least for 20 minutes of every hour, regardless of the crown. However, I get the impression that offering an extra nice tip will get their clothes off, at least for a while.

Here's my experience from last Saturday. I got there at 7:00. One of the bartenders was nude, one was topless with skimpy panties. I ordered a beer from the nude gal, and tipped her 5:00. The other one came and asked me if I wanted to order food. I made my order and tipped her 3.00. About half an hour later, the nude bartender put on clothes (a sexy outfit) to leave the bar area and put music on the jukebox. Bartenders are not allowed to come out from behind the bar naked. When she got back to the bar, she wasn't in any hurry to undress. Both of them were nice looking, so I hung around watching the playoffs, but keeping an eye on them hoping to see more. A half hour later, I think someone offered them a tip to undress. The one with clothes got undressed again and the other took her panties off. They just strip down behind the bar in front of everyone. That was an instant hard on for me. When the one that had taken her pants off came my way again, I gave her an extra 5.00 for taking off her pants. She smiled and thanked me and went to put the tip into the common tip jar. She must have said something to the other bartender because that one turned around, smiled and thanked me. It says something about the crowd here when tipping a total of 10.00 makes you the big spender. Nude time only lasted 10 minutes this time, but I had to leave anyway. And no, I didn't tip one more than the other. The bartenders split all tips offered during their shift.

One other tip. If they are talking to you, to take an order or ask if you need another beer, look at their eyes when they're talking to you. They don't seem to mind if you stare at their tits or private parts while they are just walking around. But I got the impression, from watching them with other patrons, that they don't think much of the guys who talk to their tits. The bartenders didn't say anything to anyone, but it was just a body language thing.

I think with the name change, they are trying to push their image as a nightclub. Beyond the bar area, there is a small are for dancing and they might have bands or a DJ on weekends. I've never been here past 8:30 so I don't know what the place is like then. They have a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/velocitywv.
