I've been to most all the clubs in the Corpus Christi area, this is one of the few in town that I'd recommend you steer clear. Arrived about 9pm, paid my $5 to get in and grabbed my $3.50 Coors Light. Not even in the door for 5 minutes and I'm immediately pounced on by a slightly overweight, but attractive 6-to-7 hispanic with DD's. She was nice, but immediately asked for a drink when the waitress came by ($10). The wait staff hound the living hell out of you every 2 minutes, I never got more than 2 sips of a beer and they were back asking if I was ready for another, or for a shot, or for a double, or for VIP - the hussle and pressure never let up the entire time I stayed (which wasn't long - I go to relax, no be endlessly harrassed). Anyway, the dancer upsells the VIP, says it's way better than the table dances up against the wall, so I bite and figure for a $20 band to access the VIP area all night, what the hell. Dances are $20 per song, and I got offered extras multiple times but didn't bite. The VIP isn't private, it's just a seperate area off to the side of floor area, slightly out of sight, but not totally. Anyway, got two dances which were ok, then went back out to the floor to enjoy another beer. Again, endless hassled by the wait staff. Also approached by other dancers wanting to go for a private lap dance and each offering extras if I desired. I passed. On my way out the door, at least two guys were smoking left-handed cigarettes and a couple of others were peering into car windows in the parking lot. Needless to say I got the heck out of Dodge. I hate to rate a club bad, but couldn't in good conscience recommend this club to anyone at this point in time. Club won't last long and in this area will likely be raided soon as a couple of my local buds say the word is out on the club and they can't believe I even went (I pled ignorance). Fellow Tuscleers... stay away. Girls ain't even average, atmosphere is high pressure sales, and relaxation is no where to be found.
